Dr. Earl Maes is the founder, president, and lead radiologist at Health Guardian Imaging. With more than 20 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, he is known for his precision, compassion, and forward-thinking leadership. His career has been driven by a simple but powerful mission: to make high-quality imaging more accessible, accurate, and proactive for every patient.
Dr. Maes earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine. Since then, he has dedicated himself to advancing patient care through early detection, clear diagnostics, and the integration of emerging technologies. As an early advocate for teleradiology and telehealth, Dr. Maes has focused on closing gaps in care—particularly in underserved communities—by using imaging to bridge the space between symptoms and timely action.
Based in Springfield, Missouri, Dr. Maes serves patients locally and nationwide. His work has helped shape a care model that blends clinical excellence with whole-body wellness.
